Research Associate, Immunology

Elstar Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated and skilled research associate to join our Immunology department. The successful candidate will be providing technical support to one of our Immunology teams, which are dedicated to discovering innovative immunotherapeutic modalities to treat cancer patients. The generated data will directly impact Elstar's drug discovery programs.

The successful candidate is expected to perform and excel in the following areas:

·     Perform ex vivo and in-vitro cellular assays with an emphasis on flow cytometry and ELISA

·     Excellent laboratory approach, adherence to protocol, and meticulous lab notebook documentation

·     Analyze and interpret data and generate high-quality summary reports

Education

BA, BS, or MS in Biology or a related field (applicants with higher degrees will not be considered for this position)

Required

·     Scientifically motivated, capable of independently conducting, and can critically analyze their own experiments

·     Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment

·     Strong organizational skills and record keeping

·     Strong written and verbal communication skills

·     Self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent time management

Preferred

·     Prior laboratory experience in industry or academia in immunology or biology

·     Background in immunology or molecular and cellular biology.

·     Experience in multi-parameter flow cytometry, ELISA, immunological assays, and cell culture.

·     Proficient in cell culture aseptic technique
