QI Data Coordinators are a vital part of our quality and safety operations for measurement, analytics and outcomes evaluation. In particular, this position is essential to the on-going data collection and reporting to the Wake Up Safe (WUS) registry. WUS is a national registry of serious adverse events occurring during and after pediatric anesthetics. In addition, this position is a key member of our internal hospital audit team and the Ongoing Physician Performance Evaluation Measures (OPPEs) data collection team.

- Coordinating the data flow for one or more quality improvement related studies and projects.
- Establishing and following procedures for effectively gathering and entering data, and hard copy and electronic file management for quality improvement data.
- Performing database searches and assisting with reports as requested by Program personnel; completing administrative duties as assigned.
To qualify, you must have:
- Basic knowledge of medical, mathematical and technical principles typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in the health sciences, mathematics or related field.
- Knowledge of basic data management software (e.g. SPSS, MS, Excel). Work requires critical attention to detail and accuracy.
