About the Role

 As the Content Copywriter, you will be supporting the HB Marketing team in brand copywriting, case study development, social media, campaign activations, asset development, conceptualizing storytelling, and ultimately responsible for a using a consistent tone of voice across all assets and communications internally and externally. This is a newly created role, and you’ll spend your days identifying and developing thought provoking stories across HB’s key verticals, speaking with executives and clients to secure those stories, and promoting our brand awareness throughout our platforms. This is a great role for someone who is looking to be part of a marketing production team that engages in a wide variety of campaign builds, copywriting projects, and passion for tone of voice and brand building. An innovative personality is also well fitting for this position on a forward-thinking marketing team. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Taking previous corporate content and developing new copy from scratch while maintaining company’s voice and tone
· Translating information from internal meeting and interviews into appropriate messaging
· Manage day-to-day content uploading in a variety of content management systems
· Develop, create and deploy content across all digital outlets (internally and externally)
· Edit and proofread a variety of content types for the website, ensuring it meets style, tone and marketing message requirements 
· Owns projects end-to-end as assigned and overseen by manager
· Intimately understand corporate strategy and how copywriting style aligns to that

Requirements
· Four-year Bachelor’s degree

Requirements and General Skills:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with Content Management Systems and web publishing
· Top-notch spelling, grammar, proofreading, editing and organizational skills
· Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and procedures
· Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects

Technical Skills:

· Working knowledge of HTML and content publishing tools; XML, CSS and Flash a plus
· Strong understanding of web production and deployment principles/best practices
· Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
· Strong working knowledge of social networking tools, e.g. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
· Experience working with scheduling databases or project management software a plus
· Ability to work within Adobe Creative Suite a plus
