Marketing Development Associate

Humans & Robots is a growing startup that is looking for a self-motivated, meticulous team-player to become our Digital Marketing Manager. The deal candidate must be extremely organized, have excellent communication skills, and possess a positive, can-do spirit.

What You’ll Be Working On at Humans & Robots
• Working on our digital marketing strategy in order to attract and grow our customer base.
• Creating and executing marketing campaigns across all social media channels and our website
• Planning innovative and multifaceted new market launch plans
• Working proactively with the internal Humans & Robots team to ensure seamless and timely marketing of services
• Driving traffic, conversion and ROI through online advertising, specifically using LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google
• Tracking, measuring, and analyzing the performance of all digital campaigns.
• Optimizing campaign performance through continuous, rapid test-and-learn approach.
• Collaborating with our in-house creative team to develop highly effective ads.
• Presenting key learnings to the internal team, while also being able to effectively communicate performance and vision to the executive team.

Social Media
• Developing Humans & Robots social media strategy, driving it from inception to implementation.
• Being highly familiar with the tone of the brand and being able to present this in a cohesive way across social channels.
• Developing multi-platform social media community management guidelines.
• In charge of the creation of organic content (ideation, creative development, copywriting).
• Creating content calendars across all social media platforms based on our growth schedule in collaboration with the business development and graphics teams.
• Monitoring social media accounts and responding to questions and comments.
• Maintain an authoritative knowledge of digital marketing best practices and trends.
• Manage the digital marketing budget for individual titles, as well as the Humans & Robots' brand.

Online Advertising
• Manage the setup and execution of online ad campaigns on Facebook and Google.
• Strike a balance of data-driven and analytical skills coupled with innovative creatives and copy in order to maximize ROI while maintaining a high level of standard for Humans & Robots voice and visual assets.
• Actively monitor/manage campaign pacing and performance on a day-to-day basis.
• Plan, execute, and measure results using innovative testing methods.
• Use reporting, analytics, and trend tools on a daily basis.

Newsletter & Website
• Responsible for developing the strategy for the newsletter, as well as landing page content for the website as it relates to the newsletter.
• Develop highly engaging content that seamlessly links Humans & Robots with the end consumer in an innovative way.
• Work with the web team to design landing pages, blog posts and other web content to drive newsletter traffic towards.
• Propose best practices in terms of tagging, segmentation, automation, and scoring of subscribers.
• Focus on rapid list growth of highly targeted subscribers.
• Testing of all campaigns to inform decision making for better results.
• Develop a road map for processes, a/b testing, automation and segmenting.

Qualifications and Attributes
• Entry-level experience in digital marketing.
• Experience developing social content.
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Rigor of execution and good organizational capacity.
• Creative sense and strong motivation for innovation.
• Able to learn about optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, like Google Analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
