Associate Enterprise Architect

Are you an experienced technologist with architecture expertise? We are growing our team! The Associate Enterprise Architect will function as the chief technical advisor and architect and work across all stages of the project lifecycle. They will ensure that projects align with Hasbro’s architectural and technology standards and that reuse is maximized. This individual will be routinely working with teams with multifaceted strengths across a globally dispersed, matrix organization. A key focus of this senior role is to ensure that business and IT strategies and relevant trends are consistently expressed in Hasbro’s systems and processes, and to facilitate change in a manner that maximizes the value and minimizes the pain!
 
A day in the life of an Associate Enterprise Architect:
  • Develop business, information and technical architectures that are aligned with IT goals and principles.
  • Analyze technology industry and market trends and communicate their potential impact on the enterprise. Assist in the development and refinement of IT roadmap and policies.
  • Be responsible for the evaluation and selection of technology solutions in support of business and technology requirements. Continuously refine and evolve architecture processes and standards.
  • Perform gap analysis and develop optimized road maps to support pivotal initiatives. Identify the organizational and financial impact of enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Coordinate with application or infrastructure development projects to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and document all enterprise architecture design and analysis work in accordance with IT standards.
  • Proactively identify reuse opportunities, lead and measure reuse as well as handle the re-use repository as projects make contribution
 
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years proven track record spanning at least two IT subject areas, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, analytics, security.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive stated objectives and mission with the ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies and balance the long-term and short-term perspectives of changing situations.
  • Experience in market research of emerging technologies and development of strategies to address their potential impacts or disruptions to Hasbro and crafting solution recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of all components of an enterprise technical architecture and principles and solid grasp of SOA and cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure etc. and their solution offerings.
  • Working knowledge of Business process re-engineering principles and processes, Application development methodologies, object-oriented analysis and design, various design pattern technologies and UML notation. High availability, highly scalable, real-time, transactional systems and supporting technologies. Planning and designing integration of large enterprise systems like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.
  • Experience with user interface, user experience design and supporting technologies, mobile application development & distribution technologies for global consumption.
  • Knowledge and experience in one of these areas is a plus - Multiplayer online gaming, Web and Mobile App based gaming architectures. Digital account management architecture and gaming eco-system universe. Data Lake, Analytics and AI architecture. Connective device/IoT, 3D Printing and 5G architecture. Cloud Architecture.
