Product Management Intern

The Opportunity 
We are currently seeking undergraduate students to join our internship program for the summer of 2023. Interns will be placed within our thriving business based on a combination of interest, skills and experience, and growth potential. 
Our internship program provides structured and unstructured opportunities to network and learn from some of our most influential thought-leaders throughout the ten-week program. Position Summary 
Our Product Management Interns will drive product design and deployment of product services for our clients. Responsibilities for the role may include all or some of the following: 

  • Serve as Product Owner for intern scrum team covering assigned product area  
  • Collaborate with engineering interns and user experience partners on the scrum team through product development lifecycle 
  • Partner with Product Management leaders to drive product discovery and define product roadmap 
 
Past Projects:  
Working with the Voice of the Customer team to identify 1.9 million documents that were returned to clinical providers due to fax failures. The intern team was able to create a new document action reason within the system that would route the documents to the staff role thus avoiding providers inboxes.  
Identifying top areas for improvement and developing solution to address creation, updating & rolling out of screening questionnaires and social history templates to our clinician/physician clients for use in their workflows.  
Working with Data View & athenaOne's Data Lake to update the go forward pricing for new deals and implementing new data structures in product to increase revenue.  
 
The Team:  
Our product teams are passionate groups of Product Management, Engineering, UX, Analytic and Patient Safety professionals. We collaborate to deliver an efficient, tailored, and intuitive experience for our healthcare providers so they can deliver high quality patient care.  
 
Role requirements: Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Business, Engineering, Science, Economics or related program and graduating in December 2023 or Spring 2024.

  • Interest in learning the Healthcare Technology and Software industries  

*This role will be hybrid out of our Watertown, MA office. Interns will be expected to live within a commutable distance to the office.
