Materials Engineer (Summer Intern)

Job Summary: Materials Chemist Intern

3D Architech is an early-stage startup. We place immense weight on the ability to develop our product launch. In this position, you will directly work with and report to 3D Architech’s senior materials science engineer and co-founder (PhD in Materials Science). You will be exposed to a real, fast-paced startup environment.

In this internship, you will experience cutting-edge technology development and real-world problem solving at the same time.

 

Responsibilities:

·      Conducting experiments for material development: polymer synthesis, and additive manufacturing

·      Conducting material characterizations

·      Summarizing/reporting experimental results.

Location:

750 Main St, Cambridge, the new building of The Engine (Venture Capital built by MIT).

 

Desired Qualifications

We welcome any entry levels, at least with wet lab experience and a basic understanding of materials science.

We are looking for candidates with the following additional traits:

l Ability to accurately and thoroughly document work on printed documents and computer databases

l Ability to interpret and report experimental results

l Good logical sense and critical thinker

 

Time Commitment

We are actively looking for

-       Full-time summer interns (June-August, 2023)

The internship period can be renewed as mutually agreed.
