About You!
Our Communications team is looking for an experienced, energetic, and creative Communications Manager to support the work and outcomes of JFF’s initiatives across education and workforce development.
We’d like to talk if you are:
- a
diligent and organized project manager who has been successful supporting
multiple initiatives at once
- highly
adept at marketing communications
- broadly
experienced in core communications functions from marketing, branding and
publications, to website management, graphic design and event planning
- someone
who thrives working with and coordinating both internal colleagues and external
vendors (including agencies, designers, and writers).
We think our Communications Manager will:
- be passionate about advancing opportunities
for our nation’s most underserved populations
- have 5 years’ experience in marketing and
communications, preferably in a nonprofit and/or related field
- bring a basic knowledge of content
management systems (CMS) and HTML
- keep track of many small details while
moving quickly, flexibly, and creatively
- have mastered using CRM tools (preferably
Salesforce) to craft and distribute mass emails
- be able to communicate ideas clearly,
concisely, and with impact
- be willing to travel up to 15%
